    I don’t have any errors in my code but still the slot index for other inventory slots is still 0.

    lol, i figured out the problem 5 minutes after i posted this. I was checking the slot index while I was in Scene mode, but when I try to switch to Game mode and pause the game for a while, the slot index has already assigned numbers in it. LOL!
