    Both the “New Garlic effect” and “Player hit effect sprite sheet” you posted were in .jpg format with no transparent background, can you please tell me how to turn them into .png format with transparent background? Thank you, I appreciate your tutorials and helpful lessons.

    You don’t need to turn it into a PNG. Import it into your project, then set the image’s Alpha Source to From Gray Scale. This will turn the black areas transparent.
