I just realized that there is a forum behind this tutorial)

I just went through the map generation, but since I don’t need ground, only props, everything works perfectly for me.

Who makes the game, let’s show what we do!

but so that the topic is not completely empty, I still have a noob question. I have yellow marks on the prop locs not in scene, but also in the game itself, and I can’t remove them through gizmos. what is this and how to disable this?

I made a tiny video with my build)

Hello, greetings. My name is Jarvis, it’s nice to meet you. I have been following the tutorial as well, and have been building a space shooter game also. My laptop has been acting up so the the vids are a little choppy. Also as far as your issue with the markers, i believe you may have gizmos enabled in gameplay mode. Go to your Game tab and hit gizmos and select none. If they are not showing in your editor mode you probably meant to enable them there.

Another one of our viewers, Cam, has also made a medieval-themed dungeon crawler. He wrote a few guides adding onto what has been covered in the series, such as this one: https://blog.terresquall.com/community/topic/general-adding-a-shop-passive-upgrades/

You can reply on his topic to ask him for a copy of the game. He’s published it on Steam, though it is private now because it is still in development.

That is awesome, and @Weinolfia Mira your game is looking good, and coming along nicely! I am polishing things up a little bit and sending out builds for playtests rn, as well, I should have mine in an alpha release on steam as well in a few weeks. I am sorely in need of other ships, i would love to have original assets but i am no good at Gimp or blender. I just completed the unlock character feature, and the ability to get loot from killing bosses. As of now i am using the original wave system, with the events, and i am just creating level 2 and level 3 versions of all the enemies, and now i have created 2 bosses, but as it scales i already know it will become tedious to have to keep creating new levels. I hope to replicate the weapon leveling system and adjust it to scale the enemy levels to the player. Right now i am spawning a 5 min wave of various level 1 enemies, then a boss, then another 5 min wave of level 2 enemies and then the 2nd boss. I feel like i can make a fun 20 min round this way, but trying to vary it will become tedious. I can try to make a post on how i created the loot system, and the character unlock system if you like.

@Von if you can write a post about your loot system, that will be great :)

If either of you are planning to port your games to mobile, I can give you free vouchers to our joystick and button designs asset here: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/2d/gui/250-joystick-and-button-designs-pack-for-the-virtual-joystick-295694
